Strengthening Collaboration with LNBR (Brazil)

On Tuesday 19 August, we had the great pleasure of receiving a visit from a group of scientists from the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR), including its director, Dr. Mario Tyago Murakami. LNBR is part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), a leading institution in advancing science and innovation in bioenergy and materials.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for us to exchange ideas and engage in fruitful discussions on how to strengthen collaboration between our group and LNBR. We explored common research interests and identified exciting possibilities for joint projects that can accelerate the development of sustainable biorefinery strategies.

We look forward to building on this momentum and fostering a strong partnership through future projects and the interchange of personnel between our institutions. Such collaboration will undoubtedly open new avenues for innovation, knowledge exchange, and impactful contributions to the bioeconomy.
