Prof. Solange Mussatto wins the 2024 Linneborn Prize


Last Monday, June 24, Prof. Solange Mussatto was awarded the prestigious Johannes Linneborn Prize at the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (EUBCE) 2024.


The Linneborn Prize, established by the European Commission in 1994, honors outstanding scientific, technical, or managerial merit in the development of biomass energy. The prize, which celebrates continuous achievements and innovative contributions to the field, is awarded annually at EUBCE to individuals who have demonstrated remarkable vision and commitment to advancing renewable energy.


Prof. Mussatto, from the Technical University of Denmark, has been a leading figure in the biomass sector, driving forward groundbreaking research and technological advancements. Her work has significantly influenced the development of sustainable solutions, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
